We would like to let you know that we have launched an outdoor advertising campaign this week for “Mucho Macho Man – Your Hometown Horse” in the 2011 Kentucky Derby.
As you may know, lobbyists in the State of Georgia are trying to pass Horse Racing in our State, and having a “Hometown Horse” like Mucho Macho Man gives everyone something to cheer for in this year’s Run for the Roses on May 7, 2011.
Larger than life billboards will be placed on I-85 & I-75, also known as the Downtown Connector in Atlanta, reaching traffic between the busy Hartsfield International Airport and downtown Atlanta. Traffic on this section of the downtown connector reaches over 249,000 cars per day and is one of the busiest travelled roadways in the southeast. Other billboards will be placed on I-20 to the east of Atlanta.
Owners of Mucho Macho Man feel that creating a fan base of their horse is a great way to draw enthusiasm and attention for the “Greatest Two Minutes in Sports”, to be televised nationally to a crowd of over 150,000 fans at Churchill Downs on the first Saturday in May.
