MUCHO MACHO MAN finished 6TH in the Preakness on Saturday. Unfortunately MMM lost his left front shoe during the race making things much more difficult. As usual MMM and jockey Rajiv Maragh gave us a great effort none the less. MMM came out of the race in good shape and is back in New York. We will see how things progress this week before making a decision on running in the Belmont Stakes. We will also be trying to find the cause of the shoe issue and making the adjustment necessary to hopefully prevent any other problem with the shoes.
We would like to congratulate Shackleford, Dale Romans and the ownership group for their win Saturday in The Preakness.
We also want to thank all those involved at Pimlico for their hospitality to us during our time in Maryland. It was a lot of fun and a first class event. I want to especially mention Dave and Bill our host’s for the week. They went beyond the call of duty and made our time at the track for us and our guest so easy. Of course would you expect anything less from two of the best fire fighter’s in Maryland. Thanks guy’s!!!
