MUCHO MACHO MAN finished third in the Louisiana Derby on March 26, 2011. MMM gave us a terrific effort Saturday finishing third by ¾ of a length. He broke well from the gate but lost the right front shoe in the process. He stalked the pace and at the turn made a gallant effort to catch the leader. We are very glad to report that MMM came out of the race with only minor cuts and some soreness in his right front foot. MMM will return to Gulfstream Park on Tuesday and resume
