With one powerful move down the stretch, CHANNEL MAKER, with Joel Rosario in the irons, surged passed Hunting Horn in the final strides to with the Grade 1 Man o' War at Belmont Park.
Owned in partnership with R.A. Hill Stable, Reeves Thoroughbred Racing, Wachtel Stable and Gary Barber, this was CHANNEL MAKERS second Grade 1 victory, having won the Joe Hirsch Turf Classic Stakes (Gr. 1) at Belmont Park on 9/29/18.
"What a tremendous effort an ride by Joel Rosario," said Dean Reeves. "My good friend Randy Hill has dreamed about winning a Grade 1 race for a long time and today that dream came true," added Reeves.
