Hello Race Fans,
I know it has been awhile since my last update but if you are going to have an update you gotta have news. Well, we have exciting news today so here is the update on the horses.
MISS SUWANEE wins at Saratoga! MISS SUWANEE broke her maiden in the 10th race yesterday at Saratoga beating the boys by 3 ½ lengths covering 5 ½ furlongs on the turf in a swift 1.01.79.
MISS SUWANEE broke well from the gate with jockey Edgar Prado aboard and quickly went to the front. Setting a blistering pace MISS SUWANEE led throughout and finished strong to notch her first career win. This was also the first win at Saratoga for Reeves Thoroughbred Racing and for trainer Kathy Ritvo. Our congratulations to Kathy Ritvo, her staff and our Racing Manager Finn Green on the win.
In an interesting note, MISS SUWANEE’S win enabled a smart patron to win the pick 6 yesterday at Saratoga. He or she was the only better to have MISS SUWANEE in the last race to win on their pick 6 selections and won $299,000! Now that is a good day at the track!!
MUCHO MACHO MAN is doing very well and continues to prepare for The Woodard stakes race on this Saturday. The race will be televised on NBC so I hope everyone will tune in.
